CHICAGO – December 9, 2010 – As part of its “Not What You Think” campaign, the Chicago Public Library has released the newest featured entrepreneur, Raphael Villas, owner of Chicago media services company Studio 2 Big Division. The city-wide campaign is designed to drive entrepreneurs and new business owners to the library to find the resources they need to navigate starting and operating a small business.
As part of the release, Villas is featured on posters at several bus stops and “L” stations around the city as well as on the library’s website. The website includes a video and interview featuring Villas and how the library has helped him through his journey as a new business owner.
“It was a real honor to be featured by the library as an up-and-coming entrepreneur,” said Villas, a Chicago native. “I never really thought I would be a business owner per se, my focus is more on helping the customer than the operations of running a business, but the library made it really easy to learn to ins and outs of getting started.”
2 Big Division is a media services studio focused on providing website development, site enhancements, collateral design, email marketing, and media presentation materials both to new businesses needing from-scratch branding and media assistance, as well as established companies looking for a new look or enhanced online and offline communications.
